Measure every surface, take off doors and windows, and add waste for cuts and pattern.

Wall type, Height. These move the price more than anything else.

Compare your price with the band. Outside it by 20%? Recheck the prep and your rates, or explain the difference to the customer.
Regulations to flag
- UK: Party Wall etc. Act 1996: notice to neighbours for walls on or astride the boundary
- UK: Raking out and cutting bricks make silica dust: water suppression or extraction, FFP3 masks
- UK: Work at Height Regulations: scaffold or towers above ground floor
- England: Planning: walls over 1 m next to a road, or over 2 m elsewhere, need permission (listed buildings always)
- England: Approved Document A: lintels and new structural walls need building control
